School Events: 2019 – 2020
July 2019:
- Alphia 2019
Our students were the winners of the General Championship at the ‘Aphia 2019’ organized by Dnyan Prabhodhan Mandir High School, Belagavi on 5th and 6th July 2019. The high school students participated along with eight neighboring schools in various competitions like dance, singing, comedy, art, brand promotion, fashion padre, photography and debate. - English Literary Event
To explore the oratory and writing skills of our students, a literary event was organized. The students of Std. VI and VII participated in the declamation competition and VIII to X in the debate competitions on 23rd July 2019.
August 2019:
- English Literary Event
To explore the oratory and writing skills of our students, a literary event was organized. The Essay Writing Competition for the high school and primary school students was held on 3rd August 2019. The best essays were chosen for the school magazine and Certificates were awarded to the winners.
October 2019:
- Inter-House and Class Notice Board Competition OCTOBER
An Inter-House and Class Notice Board Competition was held on the topic of ‘OZONE LAYER’. The students depicted the threat to the ozone layer through colorful and creative art. - Pedro Arrupe Talent Fest
The Annual two day Talent Competition – Pedro Arrupe Fest for the students of our school was held on 25th and 26th October 2019. Rev. Fr. Philipkutty Joseph (Vicar General of Belgaum Diocese), was the Chief Guest. He motivated the students and wished them well in the talent fest. Every student was requested to compulsorily participate in at least two events out of the total number of 64 events. Trophies, Prizes and certificates were awarded to all the winners of every event. - Book Fair & Exhibition
To inculcate good reading habits a book fair was organized by the members of ‘Scholastic India’ group on 30th and 31st October 2019. The students and their parents were invited to be a part of the book exhibition.
November 2019:
- Handwriting, Recitation, Colouring/Drawing and Poster Making Competitions
The students of the primary section participated in the handwriting, recitation, colouring/drawing and poster making competitions. The topics for the poster making were save trees & wild animals, moral values & good habits, global warming, ban plastic and save the environment. - KRONOS 8.0 2019
The eighth edition of the KRONOS 2K19 – an Interschool Cultural and Literary cum Talent Competition was organized by the Cabinet Members of our school on 22nd and 23rd November 2019. Around 1000 participants from 25 neighbouring schools of Belagavi;2 schools from Goa and 1 school from Kolhapur participated in this mega event.
At the inaugural function Smt. Yashodha S. Vantagodi KSPS, (Deputy Commissioner Traffic & Crime, Belagavi City) was the Chief Guest and Shri Barchaswa, (Chief Executive Officer of Belagavi Cantonment) was the Guest of Honour.
This year, K.L.S. High School won the General Championship. Divine Providence High School were the First Runners-up.
December 2019:
- Notice Board and Star Making Competition
During the Christmas week, an Inter-Class and Inter-House Notice Board and Star Making Competition was organized on the theme of “Christmas“.
January 2020:
- Junior KRONOS 4.0
Our school organized the 4th edition of the Junior KRONOS 2020 – an Inter-School Literary and Cultural Fest for the primary school students of 12 neighbouring schools of Belagavi City, on 22nd January 2020.
Rev. Fr. Mathew Bardeskar SJ (Principal – St. Paul’s Primary School, Sangargalli) was the Chief Guest. This year, Little Scholars School won the General Championship
