School Events: 2016 – 2017

National level Science Competition (PES University)
St. Paul’s was one among the 150 schools that had registered at the PES University (Bangalore) for the National level Science Competition, having various science competitions like Science Exhibition, Robo Soccer, Molecular Morals and many more. Twenty-one (21) of our young, intelligent and enthusiastic lads actively participated in the competition and won the First Prize at the Science Exhibition and were declared Runners-up at the Robo Science & Moleculalar Events. St. Paul’s High School was also declared as the best school at the same event.

I-Cube Inter-School Science Fest Science Fest
St. Paul’s emerged general champions for the second year, at the I-Cube Inter-School Science Fest science fest in which eleven schools competed against each other in Gandhi Bhavan, (Belgaum) on 17^th November 2016. This event was organized by the MGV Deeksha Network and there were participants from 16 neighbouring schools.
Pedro Aruppe Talent Search Competition
Keeping in mind the Children’s Day Celebration in the school, a Talent Search Competition, “Pedro Aruppe Talent Search Competition” was organized on 24^th and 25^th November 2016 in St. Paul’s. The main motto to organize this event was that the child should enjoy his stay in school by participating in co-curricular activities and keep aside his studies and books for a couple of days. 120 judges volunteered to judge the various competitions. 500 prizes and certificates were awarded to the winners.

Maths Pandit Inter-School Competition
Numerous students of our school participated in the Maths Pandit Inter-School Competition organized by the Inner Wheel Club of Belgaum at B. K. Model High School (Belgaum) on 26^th November 2016. At the VII Standard category, Master Vishwa Kumar won the First place and Master Aryan Sabnis won the Third place. At the X Standard category, Master Pranit Magaji won the Third place.

Aztech 2017 – Science Exhibition
The students of the Science Club of Std. IX organized an Inter-Class Science Exhibition for Std. VI to IX on 12^th January 2017. Mrs. Yasmin Sajan and Mr. Bashir Savannur – Principal of Islamiya Girl’s High School, Belagavi kindly consented to be the judges for the competition and gave away the prizes. The exhibition was coordinated by Master Prajwal Gurlhosur, Master Zaid Madiwale and the students of the science club under the guidance of Mr. V. N. Parvatikar.
Quiz Competition
St. Paul’s were the winners of the quiz competition organized on 26^th January 2017 by The Belgaum Leader’s Academy at Teacher’s Colony, Khasbag, Belgaum. Our school was represented by Master Sohan Sattigeri and Master Gaurav Naidu.
