PBW Activities – 2017 – 2018

The academic year 2017 started with a grand event, ie. the GWR Success Celebration. As the year proceeded, many other events and activities have transpired.

GWR Success Celebration

The PBW organized an eventful evening to celebrate the Guinness World Record success, on 23rd May 2017. All the Batch Representatives along with the school management and teachers, PTA and the Paulite Link Team along with all the people who made it happen were invited to have an evening of celebrations together.

Release of the Activity Calendar
14-June-2017

The PBW released the Activity Calendar on 14th June, which enlists events that will be conducted on a yearly basis, to keep the Alumni activities alive and rocking. Four activities have been enlisted as permanent yearly activities, which include the Fun Run, Blood Donation Camp, Paulites Annual Dinner (PAD), and Career Guidance for the students.

  • The Fun Run – This event is for commemorating each passing year of our school. It is planned to be held on the Sunday of every year before the St. Paul’s feast, which is on the 29th of June. We will be celebrating this Fun Run every year in memory of our Great School, Principals & Teachers, who have given us so much through St. Paul’s.
  • Blood Donation Camp – This event will be held on the 15th of August every year. The PBW has been conducting the blood camp every year, as part of its commitment to society.
  • PAD – “Paulites Annual Dinner” – This event will be held on the 3rd Saturday of December every year. This is an event planned so that all the Paulites can return back to school for one day in a year and relive and refresh memories along with their batch mates.
    This will be a full day event wherein there will be sports in the first half of the day. The Sports such as Football, Athletics, Basketball, Volleyball etc will be planned and games will be held Inter-batch and Inter-house, just as is done for the school boys. The second half of the day will be organized as a Gala Social evening for Alumni with their families.
  • Career Guidance Programs – The PBW has planned Career Guidance programs for the students of our school by successful entrepreneurs and professionals who can guide the boys toward a better future. This will be done once or twice in a year, with an objective of the PBW’s commitment to the next generation of Paulite Boys.

Fun Run version 2.0

A fun run was organised for the boys of St. Paul’s, on Sunday, the 2nd of July, 2017. The theme this year was “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao.”

Blood Donation Camp
15-August-2017

The 6th Edition of the blood donation camp was organised by the PBW, at the school on Independence day 15th August 2017. The response was remarkable and over 100 units were collected and given to KLE Blood Bank. This year saw much more participation from Paulites of the recent batches, while the old-timers were present as always.

PAD – Paulites Annual Dinner 2017

The Paulites Annual Dinner was conducted on 23rd December 2017. This time, bigger than ever before, it was attended by and enjoyed by a huge number of Ex-Paulites with their families, along with many Current and Retired Teachers.

POY – Paulite of the Year 2017

Earlier during the year, a thought was given to identifying one special Alumni each year, for the award of “Paulite of the Year.” The award was launched this year.

Applications were invited for those interested in nominating themselves, their batch mates, or anyone they know. After due verification by a special committee set up for the Award, it was unanimously decided that Dr. Mahadev Dixit, would be selected at the “Paulite of the Year 2017”.
