Events: 2019 – 2020

July 2019:

  • College Elections
    The elections for the post of General Secretary, Assistant General Secretary, Sports Secretary, Cultural Secretary, Discipline Secretary and Class Representatives was held in the presence of the Principal and Staff Members. This was done by a series of ballot paper vote. After the elections, the Principal had a meeting with the newly elected representatives and explained to them their duties and responsibilities. The newly elected cabinet members and class representatives will be installed soon in due course of time.

September 2019:

  • Students Exposure Program
    An exposure programme for all the students of our P.U. College was held on three different days at the Xavier Training College, Desur wherein enlightening sessions were organized. The students were taught on how to build good relationship among themselves. An inter-class competition namely ‘Laetus Verbourum’ – The Fest of Words, was organized by the cabinet members.

October 2019:

  • PU College Seminar
    On the 27th October 2019, Dr. Roland Coelho SJ – Provincial of the Goa Jesuit Province addressed the staff and students of the P.U.College. He motivated and requested the gathering to inculcate good Paulite values and become men and women of character. He also requested the students to develop skills of competency, have a positive attitude and encourage their fellow companions.

 December 2019:

  • PU College Interschool Cultural and Literary Event – RAGNAROK_2K19 DECEMBER
    The First edition of Interschool Cultural and Literary Event – RAGNAROK_2K19, organized by cabinet and students of our P.U. College was held on 9th December 2019. About 300 students from eight schools from Belagavi city participated actively in this inaugural event. The students displayed their talents in the form of dance, singing, treasure hunt, master & miss, etc. Smt. Shaila Mehta and Rev. Fr. Mathew Bardeskar SJ (Principal of St. Paul’s English Medium Primary School, Sangargalli) were the Chief Guests at the Inaugural and Valedictory Function respectively.
    St. Joseph’s Canossian Convent High School, Belagavi emerged as the winners.
