School Events: 2019 – 2020
October 2019:
- Computer Course “Python”
During the Dasara vacations, the high school students participated in ‘Python’ – a computer course. Latest technologies in robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, developing web based applications and white board animation were taught during the sessions which lasted for ten days. Rev. Fr. Jimmy Mendes SJ (Vice Principal), staff and students of our PUC college organized and co-ordinated the course.
November 2019:
- Science Exihibition “SciFair”
On 16th November 2019, ‘Scifair’ – a science exhibition was conducted on the basis of selection procedure for the students of Std. V to X. The students made beautiful exhibits along with scientific principles on the following topics : electromagnetism, hydroelectric power system, security system, pollution, environment, renewal resources, magnetic elevation, aviation, remote sensing, satellite technology and information technology. Dr. Subramaniam, Dr. Netravati Sabnis, Rev. Fr. Shawn D’Silva SJ, Br. Shawn D’Silva SJ and Br. Jonathan D’Silva SJ were the judges for the competition. Trophies and certificates were awarded to the winners. The science exhibition was planned, co-ordinated and organized by Rev. Fr. Jimmy Mendes SJ (Vice Principal) along with the science teachers of our school.
January 2020:
- Olympiad Examination
The students from Std. I to X have enrolled themselves for the SDF International Olympiad Examinations in different subjects like English, Science, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Computers. These exams will help them to know at what level they stand in that particular subject and also in comparison to local level, state, national and international level.
