Innovating Young Minds : St. Paul’s High School, Camp Belagavi, organized its annual Science Exhibition, SCIENTIA 2K26, on the inspiring theme “Innovating Young Minds.” The exhibition gave young Paulites a wonderful platform to explore, experiment and present their scientific ideas through creative models and working exhibits. The Chief Guest, Dr. C. N. Naikar, Director and Principal of Rabindranath Tagore P.U. College, Belagavi, delivered an inspiring address. He stressed the importance of understanding the basics of science and developing scientific awareness and curiosity from the school level. Recalling the contributions of Nobel Laureates Dr. C. V. Raman and Dr. S. Chandrasekhar, he encouraged students to dream big and aim for excellence in scientific research. Fr. Alendro Da Costa SJ, Vice Principal, administered the oath to the student exhibitors and encouraged them to uphold curiosity, honesty, discipline and genuine scientific inquiry. Fr. Eric Mathias SJ, Principal, highlighted the importance of curiosity and self-discipline. He reminded the students that a true Paulite is known for compassion and humility and encouraged them to present their projects with confidence. The exhibition featured an impressive 95 models and exhibits prepared by students of Classes VI to X. The projects covered topics such as rainwater harvesting, the solar system, artificial intelligence and many other scientific concepts and innovative ideas. Students and teachers from St. Joseph’s Convent High School, Divine Providence High School, Jija Maatha High School and St. Xavier High School were invited for the exhibition. They appreciated the creativity and hard work of the young Paulites. SCIENTIA 2K26 was a celebration of curiosity, creativity and the spirit of discovery, inspiring young minds to learn, innovate and contribute to a better tomorrow.
