Honouring Our Teachers: A Celebration of Faith and Service : On the occasion of 
, the Feast of St. Teresa of Kolkata and the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a special Thanksgiving Eucharist was celebrated for the teachers and Catholic students of St. Paul’s Institutions. Rev. Fr. Victor D’Cruz, Rector of St. Michael’s Seminary, Machhe, was the Main Celebrant. Rev. Fr. Eric Mathias SJ, Principal, and Rev. Fr. Alendro Da Costa SJ, Vice Principal, concelebrated the Eucharist. The school hall was beautifully transformed into a prayerful chapel, with the altar symbolically decorated for the occasion. The statue of Mother Mary, graciously lent by the Jesuit House, was placed near the altar, creating a beautiful and prayerful atmosphere as though Mary was lovingly watching over the celebration and blessing the gathering. Fr. Victor delivered a meaningful and engaging homily. Through interesting questions, anecdotes and small gifts for the students, he kept everyone attentive and involved. Drawing inspiration from the lives of Rabindranath Tagore, Mother Mary and Mother Teresa, he encouraged everyone to follow their example of faith, service, humility and dedication. The student choir, trained by Tr. Mary Fernandes and Tr. Monica D’Cruz, along with pianist Mr. Victor Francis, a Paulite alumnus and musician, enhanced the Eucharistic celebration with meaningful hymns in English, Konkani, Marathi and Kannada. Special prayers were offered for the repose of the soul of Bro. Tony SJ, who passed away recently, for the good health and welfare of all present and retired teachers, and for the entire Paulite Community. The celebration was a beautiful expression of gratitude, faith and togetherness, reminding everyone of the noble vocation of teaching and the importance of placing our lives in the hands of God.
