An Inspiring Session for SSLC Students

“Know yourself, prepare with purpose, and believe in your potential.”

St. Paul’s High School, Camp, Belagavi, organised an enriching guidance session for the SSLC students with Mr. Tejas Kolekar, a qualified psychologist, counsellor, educator, and certified career counsellor.

The session focused on examination preparation, self-awareness, identifying strengths and weaknesses, career choices, and achieving success in life. Mr. Kolekar guided the students on effective study habits, concentration, time management, overcoming examination stress, and building confidence. He reminded them that success is the result of consistent effort, discipline, self-belief, and a positive attitude.

He encouraged students to understand their interests, abilities, talents, and aspirations before choosing a career. He advised them not to follow a career simply because it is popular or chosen by others, but to select a path that matches their strengths and passion.

Mr. Kolekar inspired the students to view the SSLC examination as an important milestone and encouraged them to develop resilience, confidence, life skills, and a growth mindset for their future.

On the occasion, Principal Rev. Fr. Eric Mathias SJ, PTA President Mr. Monu Singh, Mr. Antony D’Souza, and Mr. Karu Wagh honoured Mr. Tejas Kolekar in appreciation of his valuable guidance. Mr. Karu Wagh welcomed and introduced the resource person.

The session concluded with a powerful message: “Dream with purpose, know your strengths, work on your weaknesses, choose your path wisely, and believe in yourself.”

The programme was a meaningful step towards helping our students prepare confidently for their examinations, make informed career choices, and move towards a successful and fulfilling future.
