NCC Cadets Join Hands for a Cleaner and Greener Belagavi : The NCC cadets of the Army, Naval and Air Wings of St. Paul’s High School, Camp Belagavi, actively participated in the Swachhata Premier League 2026, organized by the Belagavi Cantonment Board. The initiative aimed to promote cleanliness, civic responsibility and environmental awareness among young people. Motivated by our three NCC ANOs and accompanied by our NCC ANO Mr. Balesh Yenduri, the cadets gathered at the school campus at 7.00 a.m. and joined hands with the Cantonment Board team and students from neighbouring schools. The Cantonment authorities provided essential cleaning materials such as masks, brooms, baskets, dustbins and garbage bags. Working together, the young cadets and students cleaned the roads and surrounding areas. Along with plastic and other waste, they also helped clear paper and other litter found in the Camp area following the bursting of firecrackers during the ongoing Ganesh festival. The cadets were happy to work alongside students from other schools and were inspired by their shared commitment to keeping the surroundings clean. Shri Sudam Manchalwar IDES, Chief Executive Officer, Belagavi Cantonment Board, personally participated in the cleanliness drive and led by example. He appreciated the efforts of the young cadets and students. The Swachhata Premier League was more than a cleanliness drive—it was a valuable lesson in teamwork, responsible citizenship and care for our common home.
