: The 80th Independence Day celebrations began with the inauguration of the “Voice of the Voiceless” YouTube Channel, a new initiative of the St. Paul’s School Media Team, motivated and supported by the Principal and Vice Principal. The channel was inaugurated by Fr. Santosh Vas SJ, Rector and Manager of St. Paul’s Institutions, in the presence of the Jesuit Management Committee, members of the Media Team, Parent-Teacher Association and students. The initiative aims to provide students with a meaningful platform to express their thoughts, share ideas, tell stories and give a voice to people and issues that deserve to be heard. It also encourages students to use media positively and responsibly to inform, inspire and serve society. Through the channel, students will get opportunities to speak on interesting topics, host podcasts, conduct interviews, cover school events, present news and interact with people from different walks of life. These experiences will help students become confident and effective orators, overcome stage fear, develop public-speaking skills and, above all, cultivate a sense of social responsibility towards the poor, downtrodden and marginalised. A special feature of the channel will be its multilingual content, with students presenting in English, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Urdu, Konkani, Tamil and other languages. The initiative will encourage young speakers, reporters, interviewers and future media talents from LKG to SSLC to participate. “Voice of the Voiceless” is more than a media channel—it is a platform where voices can be heard, stories can be shared and perspectives can reach a wider audience. May this initiative grow into a space of creativity, courage and meaningful storytelling.
